This article describes an experimental course on the “Delivery of speeches” in French that was designed for nativespeakers of Korean in the Department of Korean-French of the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Seoul). After presenting the rationale behind the creation of this course (mostly pertaining to marked difficulties of pronunciation) the instructor, a native speaker of French and a former conference interpreter, describes the course content and how it was carried out and concludes on the value of such a course in an academic program of conference interpretation.
