Manuals for health workers: Some problems of information design
- Source: Information Design Journal, Volume 4, Issue 2, Jan 1984, p. 118 - 130
Abstract
Writing from considerable practical experience in East Africa and elsewhere, the author provides guidelines for the writing of manuals for paramedical workers. These guidelines are grouped under two main headings: problems of relevance (what the manual should say); and problems of usability (how it should say it).
